From Lee Zii Jia's matches at the All England to the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup, mk88 offers real-time odds, live matches, and over 200 badminton betting markets every week.
If you're a true Malaysian, badminton is more than just a sport. It's part of who we are. From the era of the Sidek Brothers to the legendary Lee Chong Wei, and now a new generation including Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia and Wooi Yik who continue to fly Malaysia's flag on the international stage — badminton will always have a place in our hearts.
At mk88, we understand how much this sport means to you. That's why our platform offers the most comprehensive badminton betting coverage in Malaysia. You can bet on virtually every major match — from the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup group stages, BWF World Tour Finals, All England Open, and French Open, all the way to the Malaysia Open. Everything in one platform, accessible anytime, from anywhere.
Unlike other platforms that only offer basic win or lose betting, mk88 gives you a wider range of betting options. You can bet on the first set winner, total points in a set, match handicap, and a variety of special bets that make every rally on court more exciting. Our odds are updated in real time — meaning every Lee Zii Jia smash that lands can instantly shift your bet's value.
Another advantage mk88 is the in-play betting feature. Imagine watching a match on TV while placing bets before each set begins or even as the game unfolds. It's a far more dynamic experience than simply watching passively. With live streaming support (where available), you won't miss a single stroke.

Smart betting goes beyond just picking your favourite player. At mk88, we want you to bet with accurate information and a clear strategy. Here are a few things worth knowing before you place a badminton bet:
First, understand the tournament format. The Thomas Cup and Uber Cup follow a team match system, meaning overall team strength matters more than individual performance. This differs from individual tournaments like the All England, where current player form plays a bigger role.
Second, track the head-to-head record between players. Lee Zii Jia may have a strong win record against Southeast Asian opponents, but that picture changes when he faces players from China or Denmark. mk88 provides up-to-date statistics to help you make more informed decisions.
Third, use the in-play betting feature carefully. Odds can shift dramatically after the first set ends, creating opportunities to get in at better value if you understand that player's game patterns.
A practical guide to improving your chances of winning
A player's last 5 matches are more relevant than their record from a year ago. Players returning from injury may not yet be at full fitness.
The Malaysia Open, held in Kuala Lumpur, gives Malaysian players a psychological edge. Home crowd support can have a real impact on performance.
When a top-ranked player faces a much lower-ranked opponent, the straight win odds can be too low to be worthwhile. A set handicap bet may offer better value in those situations.
Before you start, set a maximum amount you're comfortable wagering in a single day. Financial discipline is the key to a positive betting experience.

Malaysia is one of the world's greatest badminton powers. Since the 1990s, names like Jalani Sidek, Razif Sidek, Rashid Sidek, and Jailani Sidek have proven that Malaysia stands shoulder to shoulder with giants like China, Indonesia, and Denmark. Then came Dato' Lee Chong Wei, who carried the hopes of an entire nation for nearly two decades — three Olympic silver medals, multiple World Championship titles, and a lengthy reign at world number one.
Now, Lee Zii Jia has become an icon for a new generation. His aggressive, creative playing style captivates fans — and also makes betting on him more exciting, as his match results are often unpredictable. The same goes for Aaron Chia and Wooi Yik Soh in the men's doubles category, a pairing that has proven Malaysia remains competitive at the highest level.
At mk88, we celebrate that spirit. Every time Lee Zii Jia steps onto the court, our platform delivers full coverage with odds updated every second, so you can follow every twist in the match and bet with confidence. We believe responsible betting can add a whole new dimension to your sports-watching experience — as long as it's done wisely, in control, and within your means.
Range of betting options offered mk88 also covers youth and junior-level badminton, giving you the chance to spot Malaysia's future stars before they break through at the senior level. For fans who truly know the sport inside and out, this is the platform built for you.
Don't forget that mk88 also offers special promotions during major tournaments. Around the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup, we regularly run winner prediction contests with exclusive cash prizes for registered members. Check the Welcome Bonus for the latest promotion details.
